Every 3rd Sunday at West Hall in the Oddfellows Building in Seattle! www.drsketchyseattle.com

Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School was founded by artist/model Molly Crabapple in New York. Molly started Dr. Sketchy's on the basis of fair pay for models and boozy, decadent fun for all.

Since its inception in December 2005, there are now over 80 Dr. Sketchy's around the world, including Hollywood, London, Rome, Tokyo, and Sydney.

What is Dr Sketchy's?
We comb Seattle to find the most dazzling burlesque dancers, the most bizarre circus performers, and the most rippling of boylesque. Then we let you draw them for three hours. Interspersed with posing are ridiculous drawing contests (best left handed drawing? best incorporation of a woodland animal?) where you can win alcohol and fancy prizes. Hosted by Ernie Von Schmaltz; The Man, The Myth, The Mustache!

Photography by Chris Blakeley and Catherine Bassetti

Who I'd like to meet:

Artists, Painters, Burlesque Dancers, Roller Derby Girls, Belly-Dancers, Circus Performers, Cartoonists, Performance Artists, Aerialists, Exhibitionists, Introverts, Bohemians...

Love note to Music Bands: As much as I love the local bands (The American Night, Dudley Manlove, etc) I won't be accepting any more Music friend requests due to that fact that I actually look at and read profiles, and don't have the time to listen to all you great indie groups. Rock On.

Going to be out of town? There's probably a Dr. Sketchy's where you're headed! Check out our links page: www.drsketchyseattle.com

Thanks for adding Sinister Research Facility. We make interesting things and we want to tell the world about them. Stop by and check out our redesigned page and new artwork. We also have our steam/breaks musical project at www. myspace. com/goodsoldiersvejk and our wonderfully puerile, extremely dubious animations at
