About me:
Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School is a monthly drawing event that combines life drawing with booze and contests, and features costumed models for your drawing pleasure. We primarily use performer models such as burlesque dancers, roller derby girls, mimes, fire-eaters, and drag queens and kings. Dr. Sketchy's hosts over 50 international drawing groups around the world , and was created by Molly Crabapple, artist and illustrator extraordinare. Ms. Crabapple opened and continues to run the original Dr. Sketchy's out of the Lucky Cat Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Our chapter will be hosting monthly Dr. Sketchy's events at the 6th and Oak event space/artist's collective at the intersection of Sixth and Oak Streets in Louisville, KY.
