The event takes place at Mint Lounge on the LAST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH. It will mean you get to draw cool, interesting, beautiful people in all shapes, sizes, poses and disguises.
Bring along a sketchbook, grab a beer and see what happens when art class meets cabaret.
Come ready to enjoy some drawing games, win wicked prizes and most of all have a laugh, at this life drawing session with a difference. Dr Sketchy's was started by New York artist Molly Crabapple after asking 'why can't drawing naked people be sexy?'.
Anyone interested in coming along or modelling at Dr Sketchy's Manchester?
We want all sorts of models, Dancers, Mimes, Clowns, long ones, round ones, double acts, freaks! you name it diversity is key. If you know some one that bit different and think they would like to model for us ask them put them in touch, w.
We Have a couple of lovely friends who will be donating some prizes for the night, so check out their pages:

Molly Crabapple, recently wrote a panel called "DIY Empires: Taking Your Online Following Offline," It's about movements like Dr. Sketchy's that, despite being started by creative folks with low budgets, have spread all over the world. My fellow panelists would be Chris Baty (founder of National Novel Writing Month) and Jenny Hart (one of the founders of the Craft Mafia)
The panel's for presentation at SXSWi (South by Southwest Interactive), an international conference about digital technology and its effect on culture.
We got past the first round, and now our fate is in part decided by voting.
