First Annual Burlesque Barbecue Bash - Look for details in the blog from June 11.
Began in Brooklyn in 2005 by Molly Crabapple, Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School quickly exploded into an international franchise. A Dr. Sketchy's event is part burlesque cabaret, part life drawing class. 'Art monkeys' are treated to exotic modelling scenarios in a fast-paced environment, drawing contests during the breaks, and perhaps some random little smidgeons of pure performance thrown in for good measure. If nothing else, Dr. Sketchy's will be the most unusual art event ever seen in Wichita, KS.
