Dr. Syleecia Thompson is a Professor at Berkeley College, Author, Music Executive and Professional Speaker. She works as the President of Aneelys Records (Syleena Johnson's label) and serves as a full-time Professor in New York City. She is set to release her first book, Rhythm Without Blues: The Dichotomy of a Music Genre this fall. I am a professor for a college in New York City and I love it! I am a Professor, Author and the President of Aneelys Ent/Aneelys Records a label distributed through Federal/Universal. My passion is teaching, training, consulting and music. Therefore, if I can make money doing anyone of those things then I am content. I am actively involved in Syleena Johnson's Label and Entertainment Company and the manager for her. I have been able to serve in many capacities in the past 12 years and I am truly blessed for that reason alone...I have been privileged to travel with Syleena to South Africa, Italy, London, Germany, Canada, Amsterdam, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and over 20 states in the USA..Please look out for my book that I am publishing in 2009 entitled Rhythm without Blues: The Dichotomy of a Music Genre. This will be ground-breaking and inspirational for anyone in the music business. I researched for more than 2 years and interviewed 29 people including Artists, record label execs and managers. R.Kelly, Michael Blue Williams, SVP Jive Records Larry Khan have given me great insights and excellent interviews. This book will be a must have.
