About me:

My name is Austin. I just graduated from OHS. I played the drums, bassoon, tenor sax, and clarinet in the band, and at home I play my guitar. I like to hang with friends and family. My best friends these days are Cassie{my Capetillar} and KT{K-Trizzle}. They are the only ones who really understand me and accept me 4 me. I think we all are such good friends because we have been together for years. That's just how it's been. On June 16, 2008 I left for good ole' Parris Island. Hell away from home..... I spent the longest 3 months of my life there. But it all paid off on September 12, 2008. That was the day the world, or at least the other 3,000 families, knew me as a United States Marine. Then I got to come back home for 10 days only to find my self in the 4th phase of boot camp. MCT.... Not so bad, but I thought it would have been a little different. I left MCT on October 21st and am currently in California. I live a pretty chill life out here. It's great weather and beautiful scenery... And I made some pretty awesome friends. Some of them go back to boot camp. Like Gabe... But Aric I met here. Actually it was pretty funny. He was standing in front of me in line to check in to SRC. We started talking just to pass the time and then when he heard I had a laptop he was like, " I hope we get put in the same room... at least until I get my laptop." And what do you know... We got assigned to the same room. So we were like, this is cool. We started hanging out the whole week we were in SRC. Then when we realized we were getting new rooms, we were like, I hope we get put in the same room. -Deja Vu- Well, we didn't... We were bummed, but we're Marines.... Improvise, Adapt and Overcome right? So we found out where each others rooms were. Turns out he's like just on the other side of the building from me. So we are in each other's rooms all the time... Mostly mine though because I pick up the wifi from the lounge. So we don't have to pay for internet now. That makes us happy. He has become like a brother to me...
