I play drums for the church band and I am also in a couple of other bands. I love music almost as much as life itself. I like to write lyrics for potential songs I want to create. I like videogames, enjoy watching just about every kind of movie, and sometimes like to sketch/draw things (taking photographs is fun, too). I also enjoy being outdoors. I like fishing, camping, paintballing, playing baseball and basketball, and swimming. Most of all, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and having fun...of course...that was definintely a "No shit!" statement. ;)

Heroes
My Uncle Jim (the all-time best drummer ever), Buddy Rich (the next best drummer), Chris Adler, Danny Carey, Michael Jordan, and my parents.
I'm a pretty well rounded drummer. I've been playing seriously for about 8 or 9 years now (self-taught, but I've been told that I'm pretty good). I first got interested in playing drums at 5 years old. One time, I went to my uncle's house with my dad, and for the first time was able to play around on my uncle's drum set. While they were talking, my dad noticed that I was actually trying to play an organized beat. They were kind of surprised that I wasn't just beating away on the drums. Later on, My Uncle Jim got me even further interested by encouraging me to practice and get better, and the rest is history. My friend Steve and I always jam (I play drums; he plays guitar) every chance we get. It's kind of a tradition now that he lives in Pittsburgh. He was the one that introduced me to some of the greatest bands ever such as: System of a Down, Blink 182, Coal Chamber, Limp Bizkit, and Primus. Thanks Steve. I have been the drummer in a few bands now. Here's the list of the bands (I doubt that you've ever heard of any of them, unless of course I know you.): "The John Smith Attack", "Zareef", "Adelaide", "The Rick-O Steve-O Jamaroo Band", and two recent bands that are in the works. The J.S.A. band is kind of an off-and-on side project. I play drums for the church "Worship Team" every Sunday morning (No blast beats, though). ;) I've been playing for the church band for about 5 years now.
I am a total "movie whore". Often times, I will ask someone if they saw a certain movie and they will look at me with this confused look and say, "Uhhhhhhhh ... No ... I haven't seen it. Should I have seen it???" It's kind of frustrating at times because I forget that I have seen way too many movies. Now don't get me wrong, I haven't seen them all...but I have seen a lot of movies. lol. I would like to think that I'm a likeable person. But I also have what my sister refers to as "Road Terrets". Not road rage... Road Terrets Definition: Me yelling profanities more often than I normally do. :) I am guilty of having a foul mouth, but I am capable of controlling it. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a very dependable and loyal friend. Oh yeah, by this point I'm sure you have experienced my legendary dyslexic thought process. My family and friends are used to it. My cousin and I can carry on an entire dyslexic thought process conversation. I have a very twisted sense of humor. I believe that when people first meet me they probably aren't quite sure what to think of me. I'm a laid back kind of guy, but at the same time can be very outgoing. I like to have fun and stay active.
I went to Stark State College of Technology. I received an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering (basically a lot of computer related stuff). I know a bunch of people, but only refer to a select few as very close friends (you guys know who you are: Chad, Steve, Chris, Ben, my cousin Jon, Ron, Chuck, and Mike.). I would love nothing more than to find my Soul Mate (See the "Who I'd Like to Meet" section if you would like to read about the kind of girl I would like to meet). ***Note: Don't make fun of me for saying 'Soul Mate'. I thought it was the perfect word choice. :P *** I hope this long ass essay has been helpful. If it hasn't ... well then, that's just too bad! lol :) I used to care what people thought of me in high school (Sort of, but not really.), but now I just plain don't give a shit. Life is too short to go around trying to appease to everyone else's opinion of how you are. The way I figure it is that people will like me for who I am, not who I'm pretending to be. Well, I think I have rambled enough now. Peace out, y'all.
Who I'd like to meet:
I have noticed that some people have chosen to use this section to list their heroes that they want to meet. I want to use this section to tell you all what I am looking for in a potential girlfriend. I would like to meet a young lady that has at least some of the same interests as I do. She has to have a good sense of humor. Oh, and she would have to understand my sense of humor and my sarcasm. The way I see it is that if we can't make fun of ourselves and each other when we make mistakes in life, then what the hell's the point in living? She would have to put up with the way I am, and refrain from trying to change me. I know how to be civil (a.k.a: "Act my age". lol), and know what not to say in certain situations. She would have to be a dependable person like myself. And be there to listen, and be there to tell me to quit my bitching. She would have to have the same appreciation of music that I do. Not necessarily like all of the same kinds of music as I do, but it would be nice if she understood why I like all of the different kinds of music. I suppose that it might be a plus if she could put up with the music that I like, and I would do the same for the music that she liked. :) She would have to put up with me tapping on the table and anything that is within my reach from time to time (It's a drummer thing). Well, maybe at least tell me, when I'm tapping, to stop doing it. It would be nice if she had the same outlook on life as I do. She would need to be as independent as myself, and be prepared to be treated with the utmost respect. I would like to meet someone that has a certain level of intelligence, but also knows how to have fun, too. She needs to have some plan in life, or at least some idea what she wants to do with her life. She needs to have respect for her mind and body as well. Also, would prefer that she be close to the same age as myself (I'm still not sure what the exact range is, but I have a pretty good idea. lol). Well, I'm done rambling now. If you think that I'm too damn picky ... Too bad! ... That's just the way I am. I'm out. Later.
Time Warner? Nice! Free cable! I want to work there myself, actually... since I'm in need of a job now, I might just do that.
Did you have to go through a week of training in Akron or anything before you started? Someone I used to be friends with did, I was just curious if the process to get hired really is a bit much like she made it out to be.
yeah Gcc is in canton, near perry. Its got a high end french style kitchen in it...and I cant wait to start workin there. I broke up with my girl a few weeks ago, but im probably gonna be datin this girl from here....she lives in ohio to, in springfield though.
