My name is Brian Smith. I am a percussionist/drummer living in Nashville, TN. I grew up in Spokane, WA and graduated with bachelor degrees in both Percussion Performance and Instrumental Music Education from the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho in 2005. In Nashville I have been touring for about three years with the American Roots Records country group TelluRide. We have been performed with artists such as Billy Currington, Little Big Town, Jo Dee Messina, LeeAnn Rimes, Foreigner and REO Speedwagon. We also just released our first record "Four Square Miles" in which I played on 11 of the 12 tracks. I also have co-writes on two of the tracks on the record. Along with TelluRide I have also been busy in the studio with artists such as Dixie Twister, Jim Thacker, Chris Weaver and Ziggy Johnson (piano player for Bill Anderson). I love the road and I love meeting new musicians to both play with and learn from.

It was so good to see you guys...2 days in a row!!! I'm sure they have acts booked already, but we're taking a girl's trip to the new Tin Roof in Lexington this weekend...wish ya'll were playing Friday night! It would be like being home! :)
