About Drummer Cory Grady (NEW PROJECT IN THE WORKS)
Twenty-five years old. Born and raised in the Detroit hardcore scene. Began drumming at the age of twelve, taking five years of lessons with Charles David Stuart. Death Metal drummer extraordinaire, but not limited to said genre. Fan of all music in general, but primarily focus my attention toward Death/Black Metal, Hardcore, Grind, and Post-Hardcore/Metal.
I recently moved back to my hometown of Detroit to begin work on a new project with my long-time friend John Kempainen (also ex-BDM), and we've been writing our asses off in the past few weeks! Expect a full length of epic proportions in Spring 2010!
Garroter (Today is the Day/Mastodon worship) 2001: Began as a side project. Wrote one entire song. Really shortlived.
Atrium (Emotional Hardcore) 2000-2001: - Released a 5 song EP entitled "Twothousandone" on Brian Ebert's (The Parallax View, Illiad) old MI.-based label Pen15 records.
Decepticon (Joke Grind) 1998-2001: TONS of home recorded material, but never officially released anything. Played 2 ridiculous shows.
One Last Hope (Metalcore) 1998-1999: Released professionally recorded cassette demo, played many shows locally.
Fall Apart (Oldschool Hardcore) 1998: - Home recorded cassette demo, never played any shows.
The Leftovers (Pop/Punk) 1997: Never did anything.
The Saboteurs (Punk/Ska) 1996-1997: Never recorded, played only a few shows.
Panic Circle (Black Flag worship) 1996-1997: First band ever. I played guitar. Released various cassette demos and played only a handful of shows.
