Greetings! My name is Dino Cuneo. I have been playing the drums since I was four years old. By the time I was nine I was already playing professionally with the jazz group "The Togethers", now known as "Generations Jazz Trio". At ten years old I was instructed under the late, great Buddy Rich and Ron Moewes. At the young age of 17, I shared the stage and played with high profile artists such as “Carlos Santana”, “Warrant”, “Great White” and “Twisted Sister”.
I am currently the drummer of Iambic Pulse (melodic metal), Revvise (Rock), and Generations Jazz Trio (jazz), and looking for the right mix of musicians to tour with.
As a percussionist, I have been recorded on 19 albums, and over 500 songs ranging from Metal, Progressive, Alternative, Jazz, R & B, Rock, Country, Film Score, and Techno.
I have written and published 3 drum instructional books: “Kick it Double Pedal Extreme”(under publication), “Progressive Drum Method Vol.1” and “Progressive Drum Method Vol.2”. In addition to my instructional books I have written, directed and produced an instructional DVD “Shredding The Skins”, and working on a new video entitled “The Independent Drummer”.
I have taught hundreds of students from beginner to expert. Over the years I have developed unique and effective techniques and exercises to help students learn and master the instrument. During 2005-2006 I also taught at the Denver School of Music
I am one of the officers of M.I.L.E. {Music Inspires Learning & Education}. Mile is a nonprofit organization with the hopes of helping organizations and facilities gather the resources needed for underprivileged musicians and underdeveloped music programs for youth.
I have been a judge in the 2007, 2008, and 2009 Guitar Center Drum Offs for both State and Regional Finals.
