I am a drummer originally from New York City. I play many types of genres. I play a lot of live shows and continue to record for various artists. I am looking forward to finding the right touring opportunity but in the meantime, I continue to bounce between both coasts recording and performing.

Hey Joe, Careful on the 'Loop 101' down there, it's dangerous as hell..the people drive entirely too fast.
Keep up the good work and remember always that Jon Hammond told you: "Joe, check your pockets very carefully before you do the Laundry, because if you leave one Kleenex in there you'll get "POCKET FUNK", it' an International Problem Joe!:

Bio:

I am a drummer from New York City. I have played with various groups around the country during my career. Some of the most incredible musicians I got to play with was when I headed up my own jazz quartet in NYC. We played the same club for two years straight and the core of the band was comprised of Joe Magnarelli on trumpet, Ben Wolfe on bass & Joel Weiskopf on piano . We would have amazing people sub from time to time or just sit in...some notables are Jerry Weldon on sax, Billy Drummond on drums, Tom Harrell on trumpet, Essiet Essiet on bass, Harry Connick Jr. on piano.

During my years in NYC, I recorded 4 CDs & toured on the road. I had the opportunity to work with two well-known producers, Jim Gaines (Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn,Coco Montoya, Tower of Power) and Terry Manning (Lenny Kravitz, Joe Walsh, Norah Jones, Joe Cocker). I also had the opportunity on one of the recordings to work with Kim Wilson from the Fabulous Thunderbirds

My experiences in the past have involved a lot of Jazz because of living in NYC and I was also exposed to a huge amount of Blues and now I am shedding to prepare myself for some potential opportunities that have come my way through recommendations of past musician friends and other artists. I am now putting all my efforts into getting back on the road with one of these great artist. I look forward to seeing you in the audience at one of my future shows.
