In the height of the evening I saw the leisurely Portrait of a Youth beyond youth. Captivating me with the classic lines of a Botticelli leaning casually against the wall. And you, staring back with rebel blue. Wildly calm and settled indifferently, holding a pose of contented maturity. Fine art and stunning. Through Grace and drumming, you captured my attention, and struck my appreciation. Both vivid and vague in the film of recollection, a drum beats lightly in my memory's affection. There's nothing to it, there's nothing there, except to know that you made me smile and stare. Don't want to own a painting by a Master. I just want to smile, immersed in the beat. Then move on.
