My time with Counting Crows saw the release of August and Everything After, performances on David Letterman (the night Madonna went nuts), Saturday Night Live, and an opening slot the Rolling Stones’ Voodoo Lounge tour. After that amazing experience I enjoyed a long vacation where I did nothing but read books, ride bikes, eat burritos, and shop for second hand clothes.
I got back to work in the late 90's touring as a sideman and doing sessions, one of them being Luce's first record, which included the song "Good Day". After recording Luce's second record, Neverending, I joined the band and toured with them for the next two years.
After Luce I joined the Bittersweets and recorded their debut, The Life You Always Wanted. A song called "Long Day" did well on radio and we toured a lot - opening for Train, Roseanne Cash, and the Cowboy Junkies.
In 2007 I moved to Nashville to play great music with great musicians and the Music City has proven to be everything I'd hoped it would. In my short time here I've had the pleasure of working on a variety of great records with too many incredible players, songs, producers, rooms, etc. to list. Nashville is music paradise and I couldn't be happier.
2008 has seen the release of the Bittersweets' follow up, Goodnight, S.F., on Compass Records and in addition to short tours with the band I'm also doing sessions and playing live shows with Greta Gaines, Taylor Bates, Wild Honey, Jon Roniger, and others.
