Me and everyone else. Bands/Musicians I've worked with: Illegal Element/Critical Mass, Delirium/Brakoma, Fortress, The Flashbacks, Infrared, Dennis Jones, Slave to Rhythm, Blizzard of Ozz (Ozzy tribute), Purple Dragon, Painkiller (Judas Priest tribute), Hula Monsters, Mr. Crowley (Ozzy tribute), Electric Funeral (Black Sabbath tribute), Crazy Train (Arizona)(Ozzy tribute), Lights Out (UFO tribute), Section 8/Goon Squad, Sonic Temple (Cult tribute), Peace Corp/George Fryer, Red Zero, Last Call, Boombox, Left 4 Dead, Hammer of the Gods (Led Zeppelin tribute), Made in Japan (Deep Purple tribute), Dog Daze, DIA (Dio tribute), Mz. Led (Led Zeppelin tribute).
Influences
These are all the drummers who have influenced me in one way or another: John Bonham, Bill Ward, Ian Paice, Keith Moon, John Densmore, Alex Van Halen, Cozy Powell, Vinny Appice, Peter Criss, Eric Singer, Scott Travis, Jeff Martin, Jeff Bowders, Leonard Haze, Neil Peart, Nicko McBrain, Danny Carey, Bobby Jarzombek, Mike Portnoy, Charlie Benante, Vinnie Paul, Lars Ulrich, Gil Moore, Nick Menza, Scott Rockenfield, Andy Parker, Joey Kramer, Matt Cameron, Randy Castillo, Denny Carmassi, Tommy Lee, Joey Gold, Phil Rudd, Bun E. Carlos, Les Binks, Dave Holland, Herman Rarebell, Ginger Baker, Buddy Rich, Randy Johnson, and most importantly, my fellow "fro" drumming brothers: Tommy Aldridge, Mitch Mitchell, A.J. Pero, Gonzo Sandoval, and "Super Fro" Sib Hashian.
I've played drums in various projects (covers and original music), including Hawaiian, Surf, Blues, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Disco/Funk, Alternative, Punk, and, of course, METAL, and sometimes in multiple projects at once, not always for pay, hence my nickname "Drumslut," given to me by a good friend of mine. Now I am stuck with it, although my primary band at this time is ELECTRIC FUNERAL, a tribute to classic Black Sabbath (both Ozzy and Dio eras). I am also working with some great female musicians in Mz Led (Zeppelin tribute) and DIA (tribute to Dio and Dio-era Black Sabbath). I am easily bored with music commonly described as "lounge," "acoustic/coffee-house" or "unplugged." I don't use brushes or "hot rods." No offense to those who like that type of music--I just like loud music and I like to play LOUD! I thoroughly enjoy paying tribute to my favorite bands, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Dio, along with the other accomplished musicians in the bands who are great friends of mine and who share the same passion. What is even more satisfying is seeing so many people who appreciate what we are doing!
Please don't request to be added as a "Friend" unless I actually know you, especially bands. Thanks.
