Here are a few of the retailers that carry music from Druu:
LoFREEQ recording artist Druu is a Southern California based producer and songwriter who cut his teeth writing for and performing with Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum recording artists before launching his own explorations into Breakbeat, Hip-Hop and Rap/Rock. Those explorations have led Druu to specialize in combining styles, from Hip-Hop, Rock and Jazz to Techno, Breakbeat and Drum 'n Bass.
Druu's music is in the soundtracks to a number of television shows and DVD releases. Here's a list of recent TV shows that have used his music:
You can also find Druu hosting and providing music for shows on Bite Me TV. Check it out at Blip TV, Revver, YouTube and of course at BiteMe-TV.com.
Here's more news, people.
Here's the latest episode from Bite Me TV. 'BITE ME!' is the MAN cooking show, 'Field Trippin' covers cool and sexy events around Southern California and 'What the...' is Druu's video blog. Get more at biteme-tv.com.
Two of Druu's songs, both remixes of Breaks track "Domination", are featured in Supercross DVD 'Rhythm & Blitz', nominated for Best Soundtrack at the 2006 X-Dance Film Festival.
Three of Druu's songs, including Rap/Rock track "You Can't Touch Me", are in the soundtrack to the No Fear/The Projects motocross DVD 'TGO: The Constant War (Special Edition)'. Six more songs are in the soundtrack to Revolver Films' latest drag racing DVD, 'Playground of Power III'.
In 2006, Druu co-wrote and produced Hip-Hop track "The Letter", featuring vocals by Sun Dubois, for director Rebecca Scott's short film 'St. California'. Here is a link to the film's trailer here on MySpace. He also has a handfull of songs in the upcoming board sports documentary film 'BoardHeads'.
Two of Druu's songs, "Sub-Urban" and the original mix of "I'm Comin' to Get You", are in the soundtrack to Green Bottle Productions' new DVD 'Fire It Up' along with tracks by The Pharcyde, Visionaries, Kottonmouth Kings, etc.
Druu's song "Information" was rearranged and recorded by Jazz Crusaders saxophonist Wilton Felder and is included on Felder's April 2006 Smooth Jazz CD release Let's Spend Some Time. Yeah, you know you want to hear how a Techno track got flipped into Smooth Jazz/RnB.
Druu's music is also in the soundtracks of two Speed Week documentaries, Racer Girlz and Supersonic: Pushing the Envelope, for the Discovery Channel, MTV's Fresh Meat and The Gauntlet 2, Fuel TV's Blue Carpet Special: Community Project, the 2006 Supercross Preview Show on CBS, Import Entertainment's DVD 'The Crazy Bikini Show' and Erocktavision's AVN-nominated DVD release, Erocktavision 3 - Sapphic Desire. Uhh...adults only on this one, please, as this is one seriously erotic video.
You can listen to and purchase music from Druu at druu.net, plus most of Druu's music here at MySpace thanks to the MySpace player above and the TrackItDown player to the left. Druu's CD releases Turn It Up! and Sub-Urban and a number of singles are also available at the retailers listed on the left side of this page.
