The idea of creating of the group started to incarnate in spring 2006, with the initiative of the bass guitarist Alexander Novichenko, and the musicians Vitaliy Yermak – drums, Serhiy Hitsun – guitar, Inna Prockopchuk – vocalist, Serhiy Soloviy – trumpet and drymba, Serhiy Brovarnyuk – sound-producer. The making dreams come true should have been given the answer on a question “ Is it possible to unite ethnic thesis with modern music?” And the answer was the appearance of the band DrymbdDaDzyga on the Ukrainian musical space, the morning coat of which is the songs with deep ukrainian roots, powerful original sound with elements of ska, punk, hardcore, with qualitative drive performance.
The concert way of the band started in 2007, when the first performance took place on a presentation of collection “I love Carpathians”. This concert was the peculiar start in next list of fests and club performances of DrymbdDaDzyga in Ukraine and abroad. The first grand fest of the group was “ The Land of Dreams”, where DrymbdDaDzyga became the pleasant surprise for the audience. The next steps were the performances on fests, which were held for the first time in Ukraine, had huge level of the organization and impressed with the list of the artists. Those festivals were “Slavske Rock”, bright and powerful fest “Pidkamin’”, new fests “Ethnoevolution”, and “Rozhanitsa”. Also much fests have been taken place abroad, most in Poland – “Vatra v Lugah”, “Letnia academia filmova”, fest “Sarry”. But the most prominent performance of DDD in 2007 became the fest “Przystanek Woodstock”, one of the biggest fests in Europe, where DDD had a chance to represent Ukraine among other groups of different countries of the world.
The purpose of DDD is reproduction and spread of Ukrainian musical culture. Harmoniously interlaced ethnic and modern musical streams in songs of DDD make it progressive and favourable for listeners with different tastes.
