In late 1995, Adam Ledford and Jason Hartley, ( friends from high school), began jamming with a 4 track, a mic, and a guitar. Together they wrote several songs and laid the ground for what would later be known as "Drywell". Jamie Rogers, Jason's brother-in-law, joined up with the duo in 2000. Jamie's style added more depth to the music, not to mention several good ideas. With a new perspective on their music, they continued to write, and in late 2003 decided to record their debut album "A Life Worth Leaving". The album was recorded as a 3 piece with the help of Troy Whitson adding bass. In 2004 they recruited Jeremiah Waldo for the bass duties, and later that year, TJ Jackson to add drums. With Jeremiah and TJ creating a backbone for the music, Drywell was driven to a whole new level. They began performing live in several local pubs. They recieved great reviews and reactions from the crowds in an area that seemed to be driven by mainly Metal and Cover bands. In late 2004 they recorded their self-titled EP featuring five live tracks from their first performance at the Rhythm and Roots Festival in Bristol Va. and 5 studio tracks. In August 2005 they hit the studio again, recording a full length album titled "ManMadeDamn" which was released in Feburary 2006 and has recieved great reviews. In 2007 they recorded "Oneword" and released it in 2008. Now in 2009 Drywell is .......
