Derick Sebastian, from humble beginnings born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii, this man, now 27 years young is taking the music world by storm. A proven and accomplished musician, singer and songwriter, Derick has mastered the ukulele with precision picking and warp-speed strumming. With such versatility, he performs in various styles of Traditional & Contemporary Hawaiian, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Gospel, Latin, Folk, Funk, R & B, Reggae, and Rock. He is engaging on stage, but speaks ever so humbly of himself and his talent. Once behind his ukulele, Derick transforms himself into a virtuoso of this little Hawaiian instrument only a small handful of players can lay claim. While he walks a quiet walk, his ukulele speaks loudly, thus at times is referred appropriately as the “quiet thunder.” Listen to this young man’s passion through his ukulele mastery, and you will be humbly amazed.
