Труповоз-джазз-банда «Лавкрафт» была образована в Санкт-Петербурге в 2005 году на останках готик-группы «Lovecraft».
Основатель банды The Lemkes, изначально ориентируясь на классику альтер-рока типа Капитана Бифхарда, нашел себе двух
компаньонов - трэш-гитариста Д.О. и нойз-перкуссиониста И.С. Обозначив своими целями блюз, нойз, панк-рок и анархию,
члены банды вошли в подвалы мирового шоу-бизнеса. Через два года поиска звука и выступлений на странных и
андеграундных площадках различных городов был записан дебютный альбом «На Дне». На записи к оригинальному составу "Лавкрафт" временно присоединяется барабанщик и происходят забавные эксперименты звукорежисера Игоря К. (ПТВП, Uniquetunes), в ущерб "истинному звучанию", но, в целом, обоснованные, с точки зрения общего веселья. Еще год после выхода первого альбома банда концертирует, используя свой фирменный способ создания анархоблюза - вокал, грязная гитара, неумолимый бас и груда звенящей дребедени для ритма, а весной 2009 молниеносно записывает второй альбом "Love Craft & The Bad Trips". Этим альбомом творчество банды временно подытоживается. Будет ли что-либо в дальнейшем - неизвестно. Было ли что-то ранее и есть ли сейчас? Все это никому неизвестная хуйня.

“Lavkraft” sprang in St.Peterburgh in 2005 from the ruins of gothic rock band “Lovecraft” (2000-2004). The Lemkes, the founder and
the father of the gang, trending to classic alternative rock such as Captain Beefheart, has found two associates – trash guitar player
D.O. and noise-percussionist I.S. Aiming at blues, noise, punk-rock and anarchy, the members of the gang entered the cellars of
show-biz. After a two-year search of the sound and concerts in the weird underground scenes of various cities their first album, “The
Lower Depths”, was issued. For the process of the album recording, a drummer takes part in the sessions, and there also happen curious experiments, introduced by sound producer Igor K. (PTVP, Uniquetunes), to the detriment of “true sounding”, but justified in the matters of total fun. After the release the band is playing live gigs for about a year, making anarcho-blues in a specific way – vocals, dirty guitar sound, rigorous bass and a heap of tinkling and clinking trash for rhythm. In spring 2009 the second album “Love Craft & The Bad Trips” was recorded at lightning speed. This album concludes the band’s history by the time. If there is any future - no one knows. Have there been anything before, and if there is anything now? That is – a known for nobody crap.
