    When I was a kid, I thought Brett Butler could get on base anytime he wanted, Axl Rose could out-write any musician ever, and Bo Jackson was the most unstoppable force on the planet. Butler got cancer, Bo broke his hip and Axl wrote Chinese Democracy. I kinda stopped having heroes after that.

About me:

This is where I make myself sound far more interesting than I am. I throughly enjoy vice and the changing of one's perspective, but only in moderation and not under the guide of anything artistic or pretentious. I follow politics and anything worthwhile. Celebrity culture bores me. If you follow the changing trends in sports, sex and money, you can get a really good idea of how the world works. I wish I had more time to see hardcore and punk bands because I'd do it. I'm trying very hard to finish college by the time I'm 45. I believe in making one's point, even if it takes 45 minutes. Saying "I intern at a sports radio station" sounds really sexy until you explain what an intern does and how much an intern gets paid. I write freelance, another sexy occupation until someone mentions pay. There is a general lack of understanding that exists in the world, brought on by a general lack of perspective from a public that generally lacks.

Who I'd like to meet:

Unstable people, loose women, crusty punks, members of foreign satanic black metal bands, soccer moms, misunderstood professional athletes including but not limited to left-handed power hitters, people who've killed people in interesting ways, anyone who played on a Death record, and great writers who've killed themselves.
