About me: Darker Side of Light [DSoL] Productions is cross-country entertainment and promotions company based out of Kitchener, Toronto, and Winnipeg.
We currently host two monthly dark alternative nights in Kitchener and Toronto. We host and promote fashion shows, burlesque shows, fetish nights, music festivals, gaming events, and more. We make music videos, and bring a variety of quality industrial, punk, goth, and metal shows to Kitchener, Toronto, Winnipeg, Guelph, St. Catharines, London, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City.
Th'Elf has been part of the underground/dark alternative community for over 25 years DJing and hosting events in Toronto, Ottawa, all through SW Ontario, New Orleans, NYC, Cleveland, Boston, and more. Well-traveled and always up for a road trip, he focuses on a broad and diverse range of music.
DJ Schwartzung is the band guy of the group, wrangling talent and stage managing shows. He plays lead guitar for the industrial rock band 8 Digital. He also DJs at clubs, and brings a hard edge to the company.
Ethan Moseley plays guitar and sings in Promonium Jesters. He has booked several cross Canada tours and has been promoting shows in the Toronto area for the past 8 years.

Strange Frequencies is a biweekly, 3-hour open-format program, broadcast on Friday evenings between 8:00 and 11:00 PM on CKMS 100.3 FM, the campus community radio station of the University of Waterloo.
Playing an eclectic mix of dark, cutting-edge and alternative music, we assault the airwaves with everything from brooding Goth Rock and Retro Synthpop to the harshest in Industrial Noise and contemporary EBM (plus the odd surprise, to keep you on your toes).
We also provide a spotlight on the Gothic/Industrial scene, both in Kitchener-Waterloo and across Southern Ontario, bringing you the latest event information and interviews with local and internationally-renowned artists.
Following our first year on air, we are proud to launch the official Strange Frequencies Website – your source for past playlists, interviews and all show-related information. Catch up on our aired interviews, with transcripts available of our meetings with Ronan Harris of VNV Nation and Dismantled’s Gary Zon (broadcast during our last show). You can also get a preview of the numerous interviews we’ll be airing in the following several weeks, featuring some of the biggest names in Industrial today.
The site is still in its infancy, and we’ll be updating progressively with more event information and interview transcripts, as well as filling-in our entire history of past playlists.
