You'll have to do better than that to get my comic books!
I could have sworn I just said that.
Getting weaker. . .
Must. . . get. . .
MORE COMIC BOOKS!

Step away from the comic books.
NOW!

I tried to warn you.
Now you've even upset the dog!

But first, I need to save the comic books!

Kryptonian Translation:
Not with my comic books, you don't!

Ooookay --
so maybe YOU should go ahead and take the comic books.

Changed my mind. I'm keeping them!
But don't get the wrong idea about me. As a kid, Superman wasn't the ONLY thing I enjoyed reading. . .

About me:

Notice:
This page is NOT "under construction".
It's like this on purpose!
Hi, it's me, DAVE, and I am an OLD Superman fan.
Fact is, I can't remember the first time I saw him, but it must have been from my high-chair, parked in front of the TV during the original Adventures of Superman show. See "Television" below for more about that.
A few years later, one of the "big kids" on our block (He must have been nine or ten. They know everything!) gave me a couple of his old comic books. I could only read about half of it (good thing they have pictures), but that was good enough to get me hooked on those, too.
Fast forward about half a century, and here I am, loving it all now as much as I did then. In fact, it recently occurred to me that I still like everything that I liked when I was seven, and just about nothing else!
Okay, maybe one or two new things.
But the same TV shows, same movies, even the same cereal, and of course, the same comic books.
And with the eyesight going the way it is, I'm back to being able to read about half of it (good thing they have pictures).
BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME!
Tell me a little bit about YOU.

Hey Superman --
thanks for being on Dave's MySpace.
How do you like it so far. . . ?
