“A fusion of folk rock/blues/jazz/country and acoustic balladry…..unlike anything today..….spectacular guitar style and strong vocals.” Review Magazine 2006
"Duality knocked our socks off! All the band's members combined to produce some rockin', folkin', jazzy jams. I hope they want to come back
for another appearance again real soon."
Live! From the Living Room Pontiac, MI February 2007
As suggested by its name, "Duality" - uses music to explore the harmonies and contradictions that are a part of human experience. Duality infuses American roots and funky folk-rock music with Celtic and Afro-Cuban flavors, bringing a fresh perspective to familiar tunes, as well as originals. Moving effortlessly across musical styles, Duality resonates with a wide range of audiences. Duality released its first recording, On Reflection, in 2006.
Duality has been seen recently in Bay City at the Kingfisher Restaurant, Old City Hall, the Bay City Arts and Hell's Half Mile Festivals In Saginaw, Duality has played at the White Crow Conservatory of Music. Spencer's Restaurant, and the Masonic Temple. Duality has played at the Live! From the Living Room coffee house in Pontiac and will be playling in Gladwin this summer.
Jon, Kathy, and Terri also previously performed together as part of "Hoolie", a celtic influenced band, which performed in a variety of venues, including the Midland Folk Society, the Ten Pound Fiddle, and in folk clubs in England and Scotland.

Sincere apologies to all our friends who got an inappropriate video - which purported to be sent by Duality....apparently we were hacked when clicking on a video sent by one of our "known" friends (who also was a victim, evidently).
We've changed our password and (per the Lash's patient instructions) will not be clicking on videos sent in messages.
If you tried to click on this video you should probably change your password right away too.
Lesson one- if you logged in to what you thought was MySpace to view a video comment, you're going to get hacked. Lesson two- the salad fork is the small one.:)
loved your selection of tunes....hope to mix ya'll again soon....ya'll are great bunch of kats to work with.....sorry for all the distractions from the main stage...LOL
Lots of wind and rain this morning with a little thunder and lightning thrown in just to keep things interesting, we needed the rain here.
Last night the raccoons got one of our hens and tried to come back for some more. It just turned daylight and our roosters and the neighbor's are playing dueling roosters, I'm sure to the delight of the community.
We put out a Have-A-Heart last night in an effort to catch whoever has been in the chick feed, so far nothing.
Our strawberries are coming along fine. If you don't believe me just ask the slugs. Those guys have become a nuisance, and I told them so over a beer last night. I think I'll take the ones that stayed over to visit the chickens for breakfast. (Those slugs can't hold their beer and they never buy.)
It's been a busy night and I was checking my e-mail and the doings in MySpace before heading back to bed. I thought I'd stop by to say "Hi."
