About me:

I'm married with children. Which means first of all I want to be the best Husband and Friend to my wife. Then I want to be the best Father I can be. I want to be a better parent than my parents were. Were my folks poor parents? No, not at all, but I think we all strive to be better parents than our own parents were for us. I want to be a better husband to my wife than my father was to my mom. Was he a poor husband? Again, no, not that I'm any kind of judge. But I gotta think we have to strive for that also. Am I better at either than my parents were? I don't know. I'd surely like to think so. But I can only truly judge myself against the example set by the Heavenly Father...which if I use that as a benchmark I'm failing miserably. But ya gotta admit, it's a heckuva goal to shoot for.
