"Bend Down" is fantastic! Great message and an even better song. Take care. =)

That is true, really everything fits. It can be difficult not to judge when our ears are so trained in the western ways of the 12 tone system and traditional harmonies/melodies. Avoiding the radio seems to help me at least a bit.
As far as the Sweetwater songwriters group goes, it's been really hit or miss. I think we've had a total of four meetings since it started in October. It's really been just everyone playing a song or two for each other for the most part. I'd really like to see something more cohesive but experimental where everyone can work together on musical ideas. I guess we'll see what happens if the group continues on. Keep playing,

Adam

Thank You, thats one of the nicest compliments i've ever received concerning my songwriting. I think it's very important to be sincere in what you write and not change things because they don't neccessarily "fit" so to speak.

It was good to play some songs with you last weekend. You really know how to fill open space without overplaying. A challenge for many.
