Songwriter, novelist, and poet Duane Poncy lives and works in Portland, Oregon. He has been a lifelong amateur songwriter, and performed briefly in the early nineties. He now limits himself to creating his music in his home studio.
In addition to his music, he is currently working on a dystopian novel of the future. He and his wife, Patty Mclean are the creators of The Germaine Truth, a multi-blog fiction about a small town in Eastern Oregon, which includes two fictional bands, The Kowboy Killers and Jasper and the Germaines.
Duane (aka Tsalagi Red) and Patty (aka PattyJo Mack) have also been known to terrorize the good citizens of Portland as part of the anti-war poetry ensemble Roadside Bomb. Duane is an enrolled citizen of The Cherokee Nation (Oklahoma).
