Dubblestandart is currently in the studio producing the forthcoming longplayer " Return From Planet Dub", due to release early spring 2009.The new album will feature collaborations with Lee Perry, Ariup, Mad Professor and David Lynch. Additonal recordings will take place in Kingston/JA & Bronx/NY beginning of this coming may....

A 12inch is also in the pipeline due to release later this year carrying 2 Dubstep remixes by Tom Watson from Paris/France.He remixed the tracks "Wadada" & "We All Have To Get High" from our Immigration Dub album.Total cool shit we have to say.Respect is due!

Sounds from the Roof/Rooftop Promotions, our californian based pr- partners from Los Angeles recently released a double CD sampler called Tempted Love featuring a remix of "Summerrain" from our 2006 album "Are You Experienced".The track is listed as Gudrun & Ivica featuring Gudrun from the former austrian pop band SheSays and New York producer Ivica who produced for Cafe Del Mare productions/Whitecliff Jean a.o. .This track/remix is the first in a series to enter new territory in the way of collaborating and expanding our music activities.More to come.

By the way: Did u know that we did a remix for New York based french electropop singer ElodieO that has been released on the japanese label Top Of The Iceberg including remixes by the Brazillian Girls producer a.o.?And that she just finished a successfull european tour?Now u know/HAHA! Her album "Stubborn" due to release this fall.A second Dubblestandart remix is in the pipeline also...

though…, but what about London? The Central Station of modern dub sound! On-U Sound started here, Nick Manasseh emerged from Brixton … probably the third best place to find heavy bass sounds anywhere in the world – with the exception of Jamaica and the “Troublecompressor-Headquarter” in Vienna, Dubblestandart’s home and the best place for European bass guerrilla cuts driven by political awareness and spirituality. Straight from Vienna, the hometown of Mozart and Haydn, Dubblestandart started in the early 90s and chose dub music as their musical lodestar.
