The Dub Chieftain (Eddie) started off in Greenock as a backing guitarist in the seedy Sunday afternoon pub-jam scene. After teaching himself to play banjo and keyboards he graduated through the heady world of the home recording enthusiast and quickly became one of the finest producers of his generation.
Using the shrewd business sense that has defined his career so far, Eddie realised he should play some gigs. In an even shrewder step, Eddie foresaw the need to get someone who was "less bald" than him to "balance it out a bit on stage"...
Silver haired electro wizard Kidquaalude(Chris) agreed to step up and juggle the beats for Eddie. Chris is also an expert on how to get a decent tune out of a Gameboy (v-hard).
Finally, The Dub Chieftain can share his idiosyncratic music with unsuspecting punters all over the country.
yes likewise eddie, 'medieval hoedown' was my favourite track i worked on at sw4 i think, looking forward to hearing the outcome. i dug out the 50p krautrock creche keyboard when i got back to sheffield - i don't think it's exactly the same as yours but a close cousin surely. how is your eye??

Respect!! I love what you are doing. Tunes cool. Music taste cool. Art direction cool. The cool stuff is just cool. Altogether you are too cool to mess with this fool. Just to say that I have just posted a new fusion megamix vid featuring Rihanna and Peter, Bjorn and John called Young Folks with Umbrella which you wont be able to get out of your grey cells once heard. As a taste of our fusion mixes we have given you a sneak preview of a vid taking a dollop of Sex Dwarf by Soft Cell and
adding a a sprinkling of Missy Elliott. It has been shaken and stirred into a cauldron of colourful kitsch. Oh and the video
is below. Also just posted is another new tune Personal Home Jesus ft Depeche Mode and Daughtry. Love and Peace. Sex Dwarf. And remember... nothing is sacred.
