DubCity Renegades is a six piece roots reggae band out of Northern Virginia. Their unique mix of traditional roots elements mixed with a modern DC vibe gives their music a fresh and unique east coast sound. The band is composed of:

United in values of respect, friendship, and their love of music, DCR create jams that soothe the soul, make you want to move your feet, and create a soundtrack for the journey we are all on.
In May of 2009, DCR won "Best Local Stage Band" at George Mason University's "Mason Day" celebration when they were one of the openers for T-Pain. The band became international when they performed three times in five days in Costa Rica in June of 2009 with some of Costa Rica's best reggae bands at Rainforest Aid 09 and is scheduled to release a live DVD/CD combo of the trip within the next six months. Catch DCR this summer and fall as they travel up and down the east coast spreading the reggae vibe.
