The following image (click to enlarge) is of my good buddy "Vlady" or "Vladimir". Believe it or not Vlady is a published model. We adopted Vlady from a shelter back in 1997, he was about six weeks old. His favorite thing is chewy chocolate chip cookies, and tummy rubs come in a very close second.
With a newly fenced in backyard we felt Vlady needed a friend besides our 4 kitty's. The following images (click to enlarge) are of "Schatzi" a purebred Siberian Husky. We adopted her in October 2005, she was also six weeks old. Schatzi loves to give kisses more than anything else. Her second passion is terrorizing our four kitty's (used to be 5, we recently lost our "Casey" to old age). I've included her six week old picture so you can see she hasn't changed too much during her first year. "Schatzi" is German for "sweetheart" and we really named her well, she is incredibly affectionate.
Who I'd like to meet: Not sure. If time travel were available I would like a first person view of the 1700's but I'd also like to view the "caveman" era. What a better place to start to learn how fire was created, were dinosaurs really green or HOT pink, and was "the finger" used then or did they just pee on your face while you were sleeping? Ah, the mysteries which will never be truly known.
