    Dubheart started playing out in 99, after various additions and losses to the line up the core players have remained the same being Mark Shepherd on bass, Gavin Sant on drums, Richard Ramsey on guitar, Dave Mountjoy ..s and Steve Parsons on percussion and djembi, and have recently been joined by three superb vocalists and songwriters UK/JA roots reggae singer Zacheous Jackson, Parisien ragga/hiphop MC Tenja, and UK roots reggae singer Prince Jamo, all who also work independently on their own productions, and are fully established artists in their own rights. .. The band has played many festivals and clubs around the UK and Europe, and has supported and worked with great artists including The Wailers, Easy Star All Stars, Vibronics, Zion Train, Don Letts, Love Grocer, Paul Fox(shades of black), MDV, UK Playerz, Jah Reg and Seventh Sense Allstars. Musical influences range from classic 70s sounds such as Gladiators, Burning Spear, Culture, Dennis Brown, Scientist, to many modern JA/US sounds like Niyorah Abjah, Taurrus Riley, Groundation, to heavy steppin UK sounds like Concious Sounds, Jah Warior, Irations Steppas, Jah Shaka etc. .. Dubheart continues to deliver original live roots music to those who still want to hear heavyweight positive vibes! .. Dubheart is available for any live event or session work.
