Right. This space is, for me, all about the MUSIC. There will be other blogs for the other stuff, but in a nutshell the other stuff includes: animal welfare, gardening & garden design, green/social/women's politics, art & architecture, alternative health stuff.
But here it's all about the music, and that includes: going to gigs and clubs, DANCING, and discovering new bands, both live and on here, and trying to understand it a bit by writing about it. I'm a newbie at that, but love it. :-)
In the last four months I've discovered a huge number of new bands. Well, both old but new to me, and new bands. I started listening to friend's recommendations, local radio, and bands on MySpace, and started trawling around looking for more - so I'm on a big new adventure and lovin' it. Still looking for The One but finding fantastic stuff along the way. And I'll try anything once. Hence the new moniker (just trying it out for size..).
BTW I'm not interested in 'collecting' friends - just people I know or want to know, or people whose music I like. If you ask me I *will* listen to your music first and if it's not my thang will turn you down. Soz.
