Influences
Some key influential musical moments...
Long Live The Upsetter
The Dub Factor, Paul "Groucho" Smykle's mighty version of Black Uhuru's Chill Out was the first dub record that blew me away with its production techniques
The Disciples' album 'For Those Who Understand' was a big landmark - big up Russ!
Nick Manasseh's radio shows really opened up the world of roots music - I know a lot of people feel the same way - great producer too
Mark and full Iration Steppas crew - pure inspiration!
Pharoah Sanders - no one makes such freeform spiritual music sound so good - really try and emulate the spirit of his music
The Orb's ambient approach to dub has definitely rewired a few of my synapses!
And of course all the other great dub acts in the UK, JA and beyond....
...not to mention all the other deejays across the spectrum who did it for me over the years - people like Colin Dale & Colin Favor, Lt Stitch & MixMasterMax, Phabroq & Phaze 3, Grooverider & Fabio, Afrika Bambaataa, Aba Shanti & Jah Shaka
The second release on Planet Terror - more grainy dub goodness for you - take it and pass it on!

Robot Koch's productions have been released on a variety of labels including Ninja Tune, Up My Alley, Kitty-Yo and Sugarcane. These two tracks are a welcome injection of hip hop that Planet Terror has been begging for since day one.
