Dubnautica is often undefinable by genre... it merges influences from a plethora of styles intended to simply create Electronic Music. Sky refuses to play to any one genre life is to short to live in a cage... instead allow pure inspiration to drive the project you. While Sky takes influences from EBM, Breakbeat, Glitch, Dub, Raggaeton, Dub Step, Electronica, Trance, Techno, Industrial, World, New Wave, Post Punk, Experimental, Chill, Future Lounge, Goa, World, Non-Traditional Middle Eastern... the list continues to grow - he finds himself flowing between these and creates unique experiences for listeners, dancers... flowing based on crowd response. Create your own grooves, find your own path within the frequencies and rhythms around you. As artists we should not allow ourselves to be limited but instead explore.

DubNautica spawned from my interest in electronic music, and having been a part of the club and rave scene for many years. It allows me to access my roots within many genres. Like a mash up Dj I mix multiple genres into a fusion of sound... but all live - all electronic - an all original. I also on occasion invite live musicians, dancers and visual artists to join in on the fun. If you like dub, raggae, raggaeton, breakbeat, techno, trance, electronica, ebm, industrial, house, dubtek, etc... you will most likely find something about DubNautica to dig.
