Sounds LikeA Definition of BootyFunk:

A rhythmical repetition of beats, bass & vocals that when 'spun' causes mass hysteria & bouts of impromptu ass wiggling. Made up from a vast concoction & blend of sounds from the hall of dance, discotecha & warbles from machine of drum plus a rhythmical rhyme from master of ceremonies, coming from the latin term, Hipcisco Hoptimos. That when circled from platter or class 1 laser product in a 'Dubplate Stylee', causes an involuntary reaction of hand jiving & a rather tasty booty shaking motion...

   About Dubplate Disco
Background info about us, how it all started?
The whole Dubplate Disco idea came about because we had been DJing together & having a really good time. The mix of music that we are playing seemed to work as we both had different musical tastes but the main aim was the same, we were trying to create a house party atmosphere where everyone's having a laugh, us included. We liked it so much we though let's do this more often so some time is early 2006 Dubplate Disco was born. After the first few gig's we thought, hey we are on to something good here, so we sat down & put abit more thought into it so we could take it to the next level.

The name 'Dubplate Disco' – where it came from?
It was thought of on a drunken night of hedonism & debauchery where suddenly you get a moment of, what seems like, clarity & there it was: 'DUBPLATE DISCO' cos he loves reggae & jungle & I love disco. Oh & it sounds cool too....

Gig history & best gigs played at to date?
Our favorite gig so far has to be The Cross in London. It's such a great venue & even though it's normally a house based club our sound worked really well in there, with alot of people saying how good it was to hear some people doing something different. We have also had a residency at Tribal Sessions South at the Opera House which was really good fun as we got to play more electronic based music as well as our normal sound. Another gig that was really fun was the Break da House 2nd Birthday party as we had people playing pass the parcel & eating birthday cake whilst we were playing...We have also played at various venues across Bournemouth such as Klute, Jimmy's Club, Dusk Till Dawn, 176, Break da House & The Showbar.

Plans for future?
Our main aim for the future is to keep on rocking parties with our eclectic blend of Funk, Reggae, Disco, Old skool Hip Hop, Bootlegs, Remixes & general funky caboodle. We have some exciting gig's lined up & are lucky enough to be part of what we think is going to be the best venue in Bournemouth. We will be DJing pretty much exclusive for brand spanking new Bournemouth super venue, Hush, which will be opeing in May. We are also going to be doing more of our 'own' music, by that we mean lots of cheeky remixes & bootlegs to use when we are DJing. We are trying to give people music that they know & can relate to but in a different format than they are used to hearing it in.

Art work design & style – tell us about it?
Our whole design style really came from what we like to look of & that's funky. It's gotta be funky to fit into what we are doing musically. Just cool little touches like our neon light that we have when we DJ. We also appreciate that people want more nowadays & with the Internet we are doing stuff like themed pod casts where when you play it on your ipod you get pictures along with it & stuff like being able to download our CD covers as screen savers & posters...

To hear what we do we have cunningly knocked together a 'mixtape': Dubplate Disco presents BootyFunk Volume One.

Here's the Blurb:

Dubplate Disco present BootyFunk Vol.1

For the past month of days & even longer nights Dubplate Disco, aka Shab 'Ruffcut' & Doug 'D*Funk' Masters, have been busily shuffling through crates of records, beer & waffles. Seeking out the epitome of the very essence of block party funk & booty shaking beats that form the Dubplate Disco sound. They have put together this magical collection of musical goodies in the form of a 'mix tape', which with the wonders of modern technology & wizardry now gestates as a super modern pod-cast. More funky than a dead doo doo, this is what Dubplate Disco is all about... Take with large quanti ties of bass & relax with warm rhythms. Enjoy.

Download it in podcast form by clicking this little linky here... http://www.zshare.net/download/dubplatedisco-shab-doug-m4a.html

place chickies don't tell the truth about what they think.
I am telling you this because it is the honest truth, look I should know, they say that it is all in the way you use it, not how big it is, well I got news for you all, that is pure lies.
I know from personal experience, I will tell you about a secret that whit has made me promise to never ever tell anyone, but since he has not called me in three weeks after standing me up, I am going to break the promise and tell you how he went from having a tiny wang and in 4 months he is now about nine inches and get this, it is still getting bigger. He has been secretly taking grow jells from this site, copy and paste the address into your browser to see them.MAKENE.COM
I found out when I was at his house, three fridays ago, we were getting ready to go to the mall, so while he was in the shower, I went in his room, sneeked under his bed and found a box with jell bottles in it, there was like 9 full bottles and 4 empty ones, all ordered from MAKENE.COM I was laughing at first but then when he came in the room and caught me looking at them, he freaked out and made me sware to not ever tell anyone about them, especially girls from school or work that he has been dating for the past while, now that I think of it, he has been rather busy with all the popular girls around here, when just last year he was the shyest when it came to girls.
I just never put two and two together until he explained it all to me, I did see his package and yes, it is huge, pronostar huge, the thickest and longest one I ever seen.
I know this sounds really shallow, but I am considering ordering 6 bottles from the website at MAKENE.COM for you know who.. he does not have a myspace account, so he is not gonna see this. They guarentee that the jells will work on any man, or they give you your money back, living proof that they do work on any guy, seeing is believing.MAKENE.COM
