Dubs Alive’s 3rd release features the unique creative perspective of label owners and artists Bakir and Dubsworth as they interpret dubstep and sublow music.

As instrumentalists and electronic music producers, Bakir and Dubsworth fuse their skills with heavy doses of post rock, funk, and electric jazz elements.

These two producers are able to balance the demands of sound system culture and their desire to create intensely expressive music.

Doctor Lazurus X (DLX) comes correct with Cool Blue, a driving, breaky stomper that grooves hard. Following his strong release with Breakage, DLX is creating some of the most inventive 140 bpm dancefloor music by drawing from his drum and bass sensibilities and excellent production instincts.

Merlow is DLX and producer Guiliano Pizzulo and "Free Bass" is their debut release. Featuring Pizzulo on electric bass, this track goes where few others have as it's soaring, funky synth lines combine with gritty, over powering bass atop a thick frenzy of driving percussive elements. Post-rock space funk excitement!
