DubSpencerSound borns about 3 years ago with the purpose of connect people with the common passion for dubstep. First idea was by Ganji-Killah, a famous mc in the italian underground dnb/hiphop/dancehall scene, friendship with DjFoster, he was a turntablist, materialized this project. We started playing together, both releases and dubplates (acetates/lites too), matching electric-dub riddims and Ganji's rhymes at the warmup of SubWarFare Night, a dubstep/dnb night in the italian east coast alongside Wax Project Laboratory and Hydrophobics hosting various guests from international scene. We played also as guest in some nights allround italy, in Florence (with Benga) in Rome (with Storm or Calyx and TeeBee or Benga), in Montegranaro (with Pinch), in Leeds (Uk) for a competition and more.
Big connection with all italian crews let us created and made first mix of the Italian Dubsteppers Mix Series, to push our producers, our scene and our skills.

DubSpencerSound nasce 3 anni fa con l'intento di unire persone con la comune passione per la musica dub e in particolar modo DUBSTEP. L'idea è nata da Mc Ganjiskhan, aka Ganji-Killah, noto Mc della scena reggae/hiphop/drum'n'bass italiana; l'amicizia con Dj Foster, inizialmente turntablist/dj hiphop, porta alla concretizzazione del progetto. Abbiamo iniziato a suonare insieme, unendo le release in vinile (Dj Foster) con quelle in mp3 (Ganji-Killah), alternando ai ritmi dub-elettronici e ai diversi stili di mixaggio le liriche serrate di Ganji. Abbiamo iniziato a promulgare il suono della DubStep attraverso i warmup nelle serate DnB, insieme a WAXPROJECtLABORATORY ,HYDROPHOBICS e diversi Guest della scena DnB italiana e straniera. Siamo stati ospiti anche in locali come KinderGarten (Bologna), PergolaTribe (Milano), Circolo Magnolia (Milano), Puddhu Bar e United Club (Torino), Villaggio Globale (Roma), MUV Festival 2008 (Firenze), Init (Roma), Saponeria (Roma), ArciKroen (Villafranca di Verona), Acusmatiq Festival (Ancona), Leeds Met Union (Leeds, UK). Portando avanti la serie di mixes Italian DubSteppers, mixes dubstep in free download per promuovere la scena italiana e i produttori nostrani, e vari sets su radio online (breaksfm/subfm), aggiungiamo alla nostra bag dubplates e tunes inedite, anche in formato acetato/lites.

LAPO from NUMA crew [Firenze] - dj set - Dubstep + Jungle
Dj e produttore membro della NUMA CREW, prima realtà dubstep italiana. Dalla collaborazione con Simone Fabbroni e Tuzzy nasce il progetto ELASTICA con il quale, tra il 2007 e il 2008, Numa pubblica 4 dischi collaborando con ZION TRAIN, MADASKI, ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION, CASINO ROYALE, LNRIPLEY, DUBSTEPDIVISION [DE]. Tra il 2006 e il 2008 LAPO è resident dj al "Mud" ed al "Viper" di Firenze. E' inoltre dj su "BREAKS FM", radio londinese per la quale Numa cura "ELASTICA SHOW", due ore di dubplates selecta dove ogni settimana vengono presentate le nuove produzioni della crew. Nel 2007 inaugura "La Strozzina" (centro d'arte contemporanea di Firenze) con i TELEMATIK GURU, fortunato progetto di sperimentazione audio/video
DUDUB [Catania] - live set - Electro-dub
DUDU comincia la sua carriera come percussionista nella storica pop-reggae band ALI' BABA', con la quale sino al 2007 partecipa, tra gli altri, anche al "San Remo Rock" e apre i concerti di 99 POSSE e ALEX BRITTI. Dal 2005 batterista dei MIMMO & RTC, prende parte a manifestazioni internazionali come lo "Sziget Sound Festival" e il "Rototom Sunsplash". Ma dopo anni di live reggae, DUDU torna per dar vita alla sua idea fissa in cresta, DUDUB: progetto electro-dub di ispirazione "french" che shakera sonorità culture con ritmiche techno, dubstep e drum'n'bass, su percussioni e bass-line dal vivo
