Born in the Fall of 1999 in small town Iowa, Funks G has influenced thousands of music fans by playing over 150 shows across the United States, receiving airplay on 4 central Iowa radio stations, being included on several compilation albums and releasing 5 EP's and one Full Length on their own label, DubTown Records.

After touring the United States twice in support of The Phoenix, Funks G is now in the midst of completing a 7 song EP to be released in the Summer of 2009 and is in pre-production for their next full length album.
