About Duck Radio

Duck Radio is a four-piece band hailing from the Byron Bay area on the Far North Coast of NSW. The band including Jacob Zinman-Jeanes (15 - sax/vocals), Matt Lodge (15 - keys/vocals), Hugo Hayes (15 - bass) and Marley Berry-Pearce (16 - drums) create sounds influenced by bands such as The Cat Empire, Blue King Brown, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Maceo Parker.

The boys began their musical journey together in early 2007 and have risen through playing many gigs around their local area and in June 2008 released their debut eight-track album "Our Hierarchy" with a unique mixture of genres such as reggae, rock, latin, ska and many more.

With many more tunes being written at great pace with the goal of recording another album in site, these lads look certain to be promising act in the forthcoming generation of Australian music.

The Tripps	Mar 23 2009 10:48 AM Hey, The Tripps are playing this weekend at lismore skate park at 3p .m for youth week celebrations, but events are happening all throughout the day so get out and see us if you can. We are also making an appearance the next day at Ballina Skate Park for a battle of the bands and events are running all that day too. The dates are the 28th(lismore) and 29th(Ballina). We will also be featured on Abc local radio 94.5 Fm at 7.30 a.m on saturday morning for an interview and one of our tunes played. Tune in if poosible.
