ducksicle's origin began in 2000 as the open-mic duo "Helmut and Tony". Tony's creative and moody vocals, combined with Helmut's bluesy guitar riffs, left crowds amused and entertained.

Erica, ducksicle's bouncy bassist, originally met Helmut in 2003 while taking a study break at Xhedo's Cafe. As total strangers, they exchanged their favorite CDs and have since been musically inseparable.

In late winter 2004, ducksicle welcomed percussionist/human beat box-ist Erik Jensen to the group. Erik is a multi-instrumentalist who was already friends with the band through other musical projects.

Check out ducksicle's 5-track EP, which was released in Oct 2005. Plans for the band's next recording project are currently underway, so we'll keep you updated!

After many years, Erik left the band in 2008 while drummer Randy Hanley joined and took his throne.
