Bio
Let us introduce to you the eclectic song-writers collective known as Ducks in the Mud: Tom Hope, Emylou Duck, Jimmy James, and Nick O'Lilo. Their harmony driven folk ditties conjure up lone birds whistling on distant mountain tops, wild fish skipping through cold streams, giant pumpkin vines reclaiming the suburbs, and bright young eco-terrorists eating dishonest CEO's for breakfast. Your Grandma will love these adorable anarcho-bush pirates as long as she doesn't listen to the words. Ducks in the Mud weave together Hope's ethereal fiddle, O' Lilo's shhweet growling double bass, James' finger lickin' banjo flickin', and Emylou's topsy turvy guitar scurvy, lulling you into spiritual bliss, before liberating you from the burdens of domestication with a good-time riot. -

Influences
vampire bats, moustaches, bicycles, giant bins full of food, agricultural science, jim's body odour, mia's amazing vegan treats, nofx, kev carmody, andi and george, leunig, power & greig, the short-comings of capitalism, the white stripes for pioneering the 'relationship between band-members ambiguity' movement, and jarra. -
Sounds Like
Ducks in the Mud sound like a napalm bomb going off in the forest where nobody can hear it. Only their napalm is made of honey, and it makes all the horrible things it touches a little bit sweeter.
