We have a unique sound like no other. We have influences that span various genres and time periods. If you had to categorize us, it would fall under alternative rock.
I know everyone is wondering what is Hi-Z doing now. Well to tell you the truth nothing. There is only one band mate left the drummer and the only reason why this band started was because of Kyle. Yes Chad Varble and Kyle Sexton started this band but Kyle is the energy behind the songs And I can't go on with out him. He was my Best friend and band mate I will never forget him as long as I live. I just wanted to say I am laying Hi-Z to rest with Kyle I dont know if I will ever start a band again. But If I do It will be because of Kyle. Love you buddy Happy ROCKIN OUT!!!!!

Hey im really sorry fro the lost. i sometimes go to your guys church cause my grandma singes in the chior. but other then that i was in the adduance when you guys sang go live. and i went up after the service was done and talked to kyle saying he's real great and that what other shows you have. and took a picture with him which im still loking for.
but all i wanted to say is he's a talented and nice kid he will be missed. by alot of people.

(kyle. makes me think.yew never no wht good frinds yew had 2 talk 2 intill there gone.it feels like a dream,i cant seem 2 believe it.when i heard bout this,felt like my heart was exploding.yew were a great guy, i remember the first week we met at camp,i dont rlly ever like going up 2 the alter,but one of those days yew got me 2 go up there, was an wonderful experiance,that i wouldnt of had if it werent 4 yew.yew shined a grate lite in my life kyle.ill never forget yew. R.I.P! &one of these days i cant wait, im gonna come join yew up in heaven.
Just saw the tragedy on the news and I'm sorry to hear about the loss of a good person and musician. I'll be praying for you guys, Brennen, and Megan and Kyle. I'm always here for you
