Dudlow Joe are a 5-piece blues & boogie band based in Bath, whose musical gumbo include the driving rhythms of boogie-woogie & New Orleans fonk, a dose of improvisation and scat, spiced with the urgency of the blues. The menu offered includes mostly original concoctions with some recipes from the books of past masters served up - see the list of influences that provide the pungent seasoning to the add to the flavour. We love food.
"What they call 'boogie woogie' now, we used to call 'dudlow joe' before it got famous." - Little Brother Montgomery

Have a break from football and come dance instead.
We're playing at the Spiegel tent on Bath rugby ground (the Rec)
They'll be videos as well and we'll be playing new songs from the album "Beyond the forest" as well as old favourites.
You can hear clips on our website (www.baka.co.uk) and we've put a couple of live tracks on our Myspace page.
One Love!
You all sit, mesmerised, few able to sip their pints now, totally astonished, completely absorbed... Something magical, astonishing and perplexing is happening right in front of you. It's as if a woodland sprite has come to life, or an oak tree has walked in, tuned up and started sharing its Mysteries. Collectively you are hypnotised.
