Like everyone, there could be a bio a mile long of this and that, anyway... a few things about us... Will used to stick his big tooth in my head when I was younger and that's when I learned to scream real loud- now I try to sing of course. Although I don't remember it, members of Hot Tuna, Jefferson Airplane, Greatful Dead, Janis Joplin, etc. would come into my folks antique store, "Dr. Caligari's Cabinet" hunting for kewl clever old things. Chet Helms was our god parent- rip. Will always had to watch over his little brother-me, all down the line, from the boys club on 16th and Guerrero, to handing me my transfer for the old green trollies- oh the J church I think it was, to showing me the KDIA soul station, then the rock stuff to follow- I ended up writing the songs though- oddly enough? It's weird how things turn out. Sometimes I regret throwing in the towel with our record deal feeling guilty that Will had to give up his dream too but Hitwall would not have been built and we truly would have been stuck playing music everyone likes except for us. Now we play music no one like but us. heh heh.

I got a feeling you guys will be playing in big ass places pretty soon, selling out tickets ! What da fuck are the record companies waiting for ?! I knew you played a mean guitar, but damn ! you can sing too ! I like the "look" too, with the hair and your outfit and everything man ! You guys blew my mind, I sort of underestimated what da show would be like before i got there, but you guys rocked ! I sort of feel intimidated now working on my minimal rap ventures knowing that i'm working with such greatness ! Anyways, before The Duds go on their worldwide tour, you better hire another engineer who can stay around and work on my projects at Hitwall (LOL)... Sorry I had to cut out so abrubtly after the show, but you remember what I told you about my little problem I have sometimes when I start drinking. I started to feel paranoid about driving home, so I felt it was best for me to get going, or else I might have had to urge for a couple of more drinks ! (LOL) Tell Will that I had a great time. I don't go to too many rock and roll shows, but that was my all time favortite, it was like watching bands like The Stones, The Police, The Beatles, I mean you guys had presence and professionalism, and I'm not just saying that cause I know you. Anyways, man I'm typing too much, I'll see you next week and Rock on Duds !!!!!

love your music, I caught your show at the Utah- it was actually hard to believe- you guys are prob. the most talented doods I've seen in a long long time- keep it up look forward to your new stuff- Will gave me a copy of some 2 piece stuff from 1999 that makes the white stripes sound like the white hypes- you should put those up. see you at the Edin.
