Machinerie et les Memoires Invisible: Symphonie pour ma batchan
Memórias em uma fotografia audiofônica. Música eletroacústica composta de gravações realizadas na casa da minha avó e na casa da minha mãe. São conversas e áudios de ambas costurando, cada uma em sua máquina, uma mecânica antiga e outra elétrica mais recente, além de paisagens sonoras de ambas as casas. Uma contraposição de lembranças e de épocas.
Peça selecionada e exibida no festival "Journée de la Création Radiophonique" França, em Maio de 2009. Na ocasião, as peças foram trasmitidas por diversas rádios da Europa no dia 23 de maio de 2009.
Memories in an audiophonic photography. Eletroacoustic piece composed by recordings taken in my grandmother..s house and my mother..s house. It is about conversations and the audio of both sewing, each one with her own sewing machine, one mechanical and the other eletric, with the soundscape of both houses. A contraposition of memories and epoch.
Music selected and ehxibited in the festival "Journée de la Création Radiophonique" France, may 2009. In the occasion, all the pieces were transmited by several different radio stations in Europe in the May 23rd 2009.

There is something orchestral and eletronic at same time. However, there is always a sense of humor.
ausêcias I - IV combina sons eletrônicos, digitais e mecânicos com projeção de vídeo em tempo real. A composição audiovisual constrói um universo de ruídos processados e texturas em que o feedback é usado como recurso generativo. Apesar da construção cênica baseada na ocupação do palco por máquinas, e desenho do espaço com iluminação que valoriza os aspectos plásticos dos equipamentos usados, o trabalho explora um universo que tende ao escuro e ao silêncio. Paisagens sonoras contemplativas e intimistas, imagens que buscam o intervalo entre os frames, a saturação e a granularidade, em tempos lentos. Em três movimentos que se entrelaçam por meio do improviso construído em cima de células estruturais previamente desenvolvidas, a composição flerta com recursos da música neoconcreta e eletroacústica, embalados em timbres e texturas que buscam exprimir delicadeza e melancolia como formas de evocar memórias e ausências.

Uma planta de uma casa. Percorro meu olhar por dentre as linhas e alguns objetos se destacam do chão. Ao caminhar pelos cômodos da casa, dou início a uma relação muito peculiar. Memórias que apenas lembramos quando entramos em contato direto com elas. Os sons que vinham da cozinha, o arrastar dos chinelos da minha batchan pelo carpete, o cantar dos pássaros que entrava pela janela do quarto. Uma arquitetura invisível de emoções e sensações. Uma casa somente vivenciada através da experiência audiofônica, que acessará memórias afetivas longínquas, que criarão um leque infinito de imagens.
Fruto de um interesse e amor profundo pelos meus avós e minha raiz nipônica, esta instalação autobiográfica reune depoimentos e lembranças auditivas da casa da minha batchan em Campos de Jordão, alicerçado pela minha pesquisa de criação de espaços audiofônicos e arquitetura invisível.
Invisible Memories
The floor plan of a house. I look around and among the white lines some objects burst into my sight. By walking through each room, I start a peculiar relation with the space. Memories only remembered when experienced. Sounds coming from the kitchen, my grandmother draging her slippers on the carpet, birds singing in the room's window. An invisible archtecture of emotions and sensations. A house that can only be experienced by audiophonic interface, that will give acess to deep afective memories and an infinite range of images.
By walking through the floor plan of my grandmother's house, the interactor will be able to listen to the soundscape of each ambient with a wireless earphone and a software interactive enviroment.
So, by walking from the kitchen to the living room, the interactor will be able to hear the small detailed different sounds that modify the space of each ambient, and enrich the architectural experience through audiophonic perception. A sensor displayed in the earphone will give the exact position of the person in the floor plan, so that the software can realize a realtime mix of the audiotracks of the different rooms of the house. A transposition through time and space into the house experienced by the sounds.
In a solitary and imersive experience, the interactor has, in Invisible Memories, the chance to explore deeply the sense of audition many times put in second plan.

Video-teaser da instalação A Grife da Contracultura / The Fashion of Counterculture - SESC POMPEIA 2008
This is a divulgation vídeo of the installation for the opening night of the ehxibition “Vida Louca, Vida Intensa – Uma viagem pela contracultura / Life is crazy, Life is intense – A journey through the counterculture” .
The installation deals with this will to be different, to be against a major order, presented in the counterculture movements of the sixties, in special the May 68. Supported by authors like Lipovetsky and Maffesoli, the concept of this work is based on the issue: was May 68 a real political movement, with realistic and concrete issues? Or it was more like the first great fashion and underground cultural movement of the history?
So, by considering that the will to be different is something related to the personal sphere, a photographic set was built in different spots of the city of São Paulo to collect visual samples of people who consider themselves different in a certain way. There was no intent of approach of the installation team. Different people should come naturally to be photographed and interviewed.
The interactor is supposed to go behind the wooden surface, and try out some different fashionable looks. While he is having his own experience, he will be able to listen to the testemonials. The video behind the photo session is composed by images from journalistic archive of the sixties, and the photos will only appear with the interactor presence.
A mirror in front of the wooden panel would allow the interactor to apreciate his Défilé de Mode.
The audio in portuguese is part of the audio documentary composed by the testemonials of some of the people that were photographed and some others that practice certain kinds of counterculture activities, such as skating, le parkour, underground music, street art.
