Wait for it...the most original line ever (with a subtle twist) - it's brilliant: We sound like...nothing that you have never heard before!

The Duelling Winos are a five-piece melodic indie rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band – influenced by the likes of The Killers, Pink Floyd and Queen – enjoy writing emotive and/or energetic songs because it helps to keep people from nodding off or taking extended toilet breaks during gigs! Most of all they love engaging with a crowd. That’s why since forming in late 2008, the band have gigged regularly at Glasgow’s best music venues – Barfly, Box, Renfrew Ferry, Twisted Wheel, Cosmopol and Ivory Blacks to name just a few. With a strong internet presence and a steadily growing fan base, the band performed extensively in 2009 and plan to continue in 2010, with a possible date at Liverpool's Cavern scheduled for the Autumn, along with the release of their first studio album around October/November 2010. The band's first single, "Someday" was released for download on Friday, 27th November 2009, with all proceeds going to Teenage Cancer Trust. "Someday" is available on iTunes, Napster, HMV, Nokia Music, and all good download stores.
