"Supertight", the second longplayer by the band "Düsenfried and the Stuffgivers" - featuring a variety of other musicians the band worked with to get back to the funkroots. Contrary to the first record which was more of an experiment in which the Stuffgivers produced a pure instrumental album, Supertight now also includes four vocalsongs and a fourpiece hornsection to get even more into soul and funk than in former times.

Düsenfried and the Stuffgivers spielen nun bereits seit vier Jahren in derselben Formation und konnten sich seither nicht nur in Oberösterreich einen Namen machen. Musikalisch hat sich die Band von Anfang an ganz dem Funk verpflichtet. Dabei werden nun aber nicht bloß die alten Meister wie James Brown oder Maceo Parker nach Belieben zitiert, sondern auch Elemente aus den ganz unterschiedlichen musikalischen Abkünften der fünf Musiker eingearbeitet, um so einen ganz eigenen Sound zu entwickeln, der nun im Zuge der Produktion von "Supertight" endlich auf Cd gebannt werden soll. Die Band blickt mittlerweile auf zahlreiche Konzerte, unter anderem am legendären Passauer Pfingst Open Air oder als Tour-Support für den Hot-Pants-Road-Club, zurück und stand bereits mit internationalen Größen wie Leroy Emmanuel oder Peter Panayi (wohlgemerkt als Band, nicht als Support Band!) auf der Bühne.
