The John Betjeman Young People’s Poetry Competition sponsored by Shell is open to 11-14 year olds in the British Isles and Republic of Ireland. The spirit behind the competition is to encourage young people to understand and appreciate the importance of place. The prize of £1,000, (£500 to the winner and £500 to the English department of their school), is donated by John Murray (Publishers) Ltd. The prize giving will take place in October 2009 at St. Pancras International Station. The first prize winner, runner-up and highly commended will each win three Eurostar standard class return tickets. Please send ONE POEM only about any aspect of your local surroundings, with a title. Please note that for administrative reasons entries will not be acknowledged. Zakaos	Jul 2 2009 1:08 AM Blessings Duffy ,I wanted to say thank you for your performance on the 26th I was the dj at the show and I gave gave your guitarist a c d , Thank you so much with all my soul and heart , I thank you .Be blessed all ways and never stop singing and keep putting his influences in your music and all that we create keep singing and pushing you voice to the limits and beyond and get 5 more grammies you will do it!!!, Your It !!!!!! We lost a teacher but we still have people like you and we will all keep his music and moves and influences alive . I felt the lost most deeply I could not believe it was true ,I was thinking maybe it's a Joke the joke was on me .I danced with some of MJ's closets dancers in San Fran .I was dancing and learning rhythm tap ,Just one of M.J. silent weapons of his dance style .I met often with the the dancers in the clubs and so on sharing the new mooves they would learn from MJ and other dancers that danced with him .This was Just one Way he gave it back to us on the streets No one sees no one knows how great and how much one man can do ,even with a word or a moon walk the still talk the and wish they could walk the walk .He lives on though Us !!!!! and it's time to step forward .and Make it really happen!!!!!!
