Nestled behind Wilson and next to Epworth in the Crowell building, the Duke Coffeehouse is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that finds its home in Durham, NC.
Inside the Coffeehouse are murals done by local artists with anyone wishing to, having access to the walls if the need to express oneself arises.
In addition to the scenic departure, the Coffeehouse is home to some of the best shows in the area, with both local and national acts making their ways to its stage. The Coffeehouse has a capacity of about 250 or so people, so for an intimate show, the Coffeehouse is the place to go.
As for Duke students and other night owls, the Coffeehouse is open daily from 2pm to 2am - the latest place open on Duke's East Campus, other than Lilly Library.
We serve coffee, tea, milkshakes, and many other random drink and food items. Come stop by! or, our occasionally out of date menu can be found on our website.
check back often for an updated calendar!
doors open at 8:30 pm and shows start at 9:30 unless otherwise noted.
bands interested in opening at the Coffeehouse or having the Coffeehouse host a show, e-mail dukecoffeehouse@gmail.com. also, TBD means that we're looking for a band to fill in the slot, whereas TBA means that the band that will be playing is being decided by another agent.

Why are you worried about him? He's got a pretty good plan, and it's not like it's sooo uncertain, because he'll be living with 5 other people. I duuno, it seems like a good idea to me
No I in Threesome is a good song. Don't feel ashamed. Haha. And I'm naturally secretive, so don't try getting anything out of me. I basically like the whole album, except for lighthouse.
It's on the tour calendar. Debi told me about openers and such... If you feel okay with just one other act, I usually play 2 hours per show. Or if you want another act on the bill... I guess it's your call, ultimately!
