Sounds Like
"The group breathes life into its music through stunning stage presence and heartfelt performances. Kauffman's sultry vocals pair will with Martin's to deliver songs of heartbreak, loss, love, booze and travelers down on their luck." –Athens News _____________________________________________________________________________________ "Kauffman has a mellow, slightly raspy, slightly sad voice that suggests a sense of worldliness beyond her years. It draws listeners into an intimate space and harmonizes well with the fiddle and guitar." –Chronicle Telegram, Lorain County ________________________________________________________________________________________ "Expect nothing short of fantastic country-folk from this Athens, OH, quintet. With harmonies that seriously rival David Rawlings and Gillian Welch and a level of musicianship that just completely blows everyone else away, this crew ain't gonna be our regional secret for very long. We can't stress enough how much we're looking forward to this show! Hear those harmonies and the words that sound so right. If you give any sort of a damn about songwriting, folk, or country-blues music, then we'll see you here." -City Beat, KY ____________________________________________________________________________________ "Wholesome and good, friendly, with harmonies intact and good leads. They are on the cusp of something big." -Athens News _________________________________________________________________________________ "The musicianship is outstanding. It is so refreshing to hear a band of young musicians performing such pleasant folksy sounds. Do yourself a favor and add 'Bag of Bones' to your collection." -North Coast Voice Magazine
